Keiler Roberts
Keiler Roberts’ autobiographical comic series, Powdered Milk, has received three Ignatz Award nominations and has been published in The Chicago Reader, Mutha Magazine, Nat. Brut, Darling Sleeper, and Newcity. Her third book, Miseryland, has been reviewed by Publisher’s Weekly, The Comics Journal, Broken Frontier, Sequential State, and more. Keiler teaches at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and DePaul University. She lives in Evanston with her husband, daughter, and dog.
Keiler has been getting tons of well-deserving praise and attention in the form of positive reviews, special guest- and speaking appearances at comics events, and three nominations for alternative comics’ prized, Ignatz Award. Keiler’s comics are deceptively simple, but cut right to the bone when they are serious, and make you laugh out loud, when they are funny.
