Description
In Duties, Omer Hoffmann paints a portrait of Yehuoit, a suburban woman who seems to simultaneously be a stay-at-home mother, and a spy for the Israeli government. The subjects of Yehuoit’s surveillance are her neighbors and her own family.
Told through ambiguous vignettes, it’s unclear how much Yehuoit’s clandestine actions are state sanctioned, or if they’re just figments of paranoia.
