Captain Jean Francis has spent his life dealing with overt and coded racism. Biracial, Captain Francis can’t seem to be accepted by any race, either he’s THE black guy, or he’s not black enough. Now -a successful astronaut- as he’s about to leave the galaxy, Captain Francis hopes his voyage will allow him to escape earth’s racial assumptions too.
