Futile Comics is a one-person comics anthology by Mike Centeno. Futile Comics explores our odd struggle to get through life in one piece. Through short stories, Mike dives into personal concerns, societal expectations, interpersonal drama, and philosophical conundrums!

In This Issue:
Three short stories, each with a completely different feel.
First, a dream-like tale of loss and loneliness.
Second, a meditation on perception, abstraction, identity and reality.

The third comic is the bulk of this issue. Mike weaves the tale of a self-centered amateur auteur, Simon, who hides behind his identity as an artist. He’s far more interested in exposing the frailty and sadness of those around him, than confronting the uglier parts of his own life.
