Life Is Beautiful is David Alvarado’s one-person anthology of short comics.

Volume one focuses on Ramiro, a guy preoccupied with partying at the bars, and impressing the ladies. Unfortunately for Ramiro, his confidence and schemes far outweigh his intelligence or self-awareness. Continuously making the wrong decisions, Ramiro constantly finds himself alone, and often having ruined his clothes.

Through well-crafted dialog, David is able to capture characters’ personalities in his short simple comics. Every story leaves you slightly uncomfortable, but heartily amused.
