Description
In Dust, by John Carvajal, Astrid’s father hasn’t been the same since her mother passed away. He’s become obsessed with cleaning, seeing dust where it might not really exist. The assistive living robot Astrid got him hasn’t helped, and he seems to be spiraling more and more out of reality.
This short comic is a loving story of the troubling ways people sometimes cope with loss, and how people navigate living with loved ones who don’t have a secure grasp on reality.
