Description
Kenan Rubenstein and his friend Grego’ visit Gunnison beach, a nude beach on the New Jersey coast after he’s put his life in storage. Kenan recalls his past experiences at Gunnison, his pre-pubescent expectations, the less glamorous realities of the place, and past flames he’s taken to the nudist community.
The second issue of Kenan’s Oubliette series, On the Beach utilizes the “foldy” method of zine-making, in which the comic physically unfolds as you read it. It’s a tiny comic, but it packs in a lot of information, and reveals a lot more than Kenan’s bare skin in the process.
