Description
Corinne Mucha’s story telling strength lies in the ability to ruminate on subjects with equal parts thoughtfulness and humor. Â In this issue of Papercutter, she tells how growing up, her bedroom closet was haunted by witches. Â But what does it mean to be haunted? Were spirits hiding in her closet or just in her imagination, and if it’s the latter does it make it any less real?Â
Jeremy Tinder’s comic is a fun twist on the fairy tale in which a fisherman catches a fish and is granted wishes for releasing it back to the sea. In this case a 20-something comes across a strange creature who offers wishes for helping it out of a sticky situation.
Elijah Brubaker tells of the meeting of his characters Ray & Hubert. Nate Beaty provides ambient end pages as usual.
