Description
Originally printed in Rob Kirby’s Qu33r Anthology, Thaw tells in short autobiographical vignettes, Marian Runk emerging from the solitude of Chicago winter.
As the weather in Chicago warms, Marian’s mood improves, and she finds beauty in her neighborhood as both its human and non-human (and in one case invertebrate) residents emerge from their slumbers and begin to repopulate the area.
Thaw is very short, but Marian’s poem-like entries each hold a great deal of weight!
