Thee Collected Cyanide Milkshake collects seven minicomics by Liz Suburbia drawn over the course of six years. Drawn with a sharpie on copy paper, Liz’s comics are alive with an unparalleled energy, humor, and reverence for life! Tiny hilarious gags litter pages surrounding regular strips, such as the zany antics of Liz’s dogs, Ulster and Penny, and G.B.A. (girl boy adventures), which tell the story of two punks at the end of the world who are knocking boots when they aren’t outrunning certain death. Liz also gives us beautifully poignant and poetic short comics—sometimes just a few panels long—that perfectly evoke an emotion or two.

Cyanide Milkshake captures one of the great qualities a minicomic can have, a quick, unfiltered, honest expression of one’s creativity. We sincerely treasured and relished each new issue we got our hands on, and we salute Gimme Action for collecting them into a single volume. A true public service!
