Natalia Lopes (Mysto) is a queer Latine working comic artist and micropublisher with over 6 years of publishing, editing, crowdfunding, and printing queer horror comics through their label MystoPress. They are the creator of the ongoing anthology project Paroxysm, now in its fifth volume, which aims to shine a light on the voices of marginalized and independent artists and writers in the horror genre. They have exhibited their work at many independent comics and zine events including Small Press Expo and MICE, and were a MICE Mini Grant Finalist in 2020 for their short form comic I Thought I Saw A Deer Last Night. They are also active in the comics community as a member of the Triangle Comics Creator Network and the Cartoonist Cooperative.
