Ariel Bordeaux makes comics, zines and paintings exploring themes of daily life, parenting, relationships, emotion, self-image, identity and food. After graduating from The Museum School in Boston, MA, Ariel self-published a minicomic series titled Deep Girl, which launched her career in comics. Her work has been featured in or written about in publications from Fantagraphics, Drawn & Quarterly, Seal Press, Yale Press, DC Comics, Viking Penguin and Chronicle Books, as well as numerous small press publications.
Ariel attended the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, VT, where she began her graphic memoir, Clutter: A Scatterbrained Sexual Assault Memoir, now available from Fieldmouse Press.
