Jamila Rowser is a writer and publisher who enjoys creating comics for Black and Brown women. Jamila is a Black and Latina writer, known for the award-winning comic Wash Day. She also wrote the comics Wobbledy 3000 and Ragtime Blues. She’s based in Miami and loves the beach, anime and her two cats.
Jamila infuses her stories with love and humor and a celebration of what is often overlooked by mainstream culture. Jamila teams up with some of the most talented artists making comics, telling the story of black and brown women by black and brown women.
