John is a cartoonist and illustrator living somewhere on the east coast of the USA. He's constantly looking for new adventures and stumbling around to find his place in the world. Most of his comics deal with the Latinx experience as a first/second generation child in the USA, and how trying to balance two different cultures affects us all. His comic De Aqui Allá won him a MICE grant in 2015, and is collected in SCRAPS, which was nominated for a DINKY award for Best Self Published. John has had the privilege of being a Fellow at DiNK in 2017, and being 1 of 10 artists picked by Deviantart to represent the community at SDCC 2019.
