Kelly Abeln is a graphic designer, illustrator and comic artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She creates auto-biographical comics under the name HAGSVILLE. She makes comics about childhood memories, mental health, caregiving for her aging parents, and recently about becoming a mom herself. She is slowly working on a graphic memoir based on her experience of coming-of-age while caring for her disabled mom.
