Natalia Lopes (they/them) is a queer Latinx illustrator making queer horror art, comics, and zines. Their retro line work, alluring and horrific subjects all pay a loving nod to horror, anime, and science fiction. They have been crowdfunding comics since 2019, starting with a horror anthology called Paroxysm, which has provided a vehicle to showcase works by independent and marginalized creators alongside their own.
When they are not working on freelance projects and running her micropress MystoPress, they are teaching classes to teens and adults in non-profit art centers around North Carolina.
