Rod Driver is an arts organizer and graphic journalist who writes about Pacific Northwest history. A former Thomas J. Watson research fellow (That’s “fulbright for indie kids”, per his partner), he has also reported on comics communities in Indonesia and beyond. His latest graphic novella is Komik-Komik Sama-Sama (Comics Together). Currently, Rod is organizing an artist exchange between Short Run Comix Festival (Seattle), Yogyakarta Komik Weeks (Yogyakarta, Indonesia), and Seattle City of Literature. He lives in Seattle with his sweetie and some pet rats.
