Alec Longstreth is a two-time Ignatz Award winning cartoonist and illustrator who lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Since 2002 he has drawn twenty-three issues of his minicomic Phase 7. Two French translations of Alec's graphic novels have been published by L'employé du Moi. Alec has also worked as a digital colorist for graphic novels and picture books published by Scholastic, Hyperion and First Second Books. In 2008 Alec was a fellow at the Center for Cartoon Studies and after eight years as a member of the CCS faculty he now works as the school’s Director of Academic Outreach.
