Cathy Hannah is a self-published comic book artist living in Chicago. She went to the Savannah College of Art and Design and graduated with a BFA in Sequential Art. She graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a Masters in Modern Art History, Theory, and Criticism. In 2005, Cathy’s debut graphic novella Winter Beard won a Xeric Grant. Her more recent work includes Uglyfat and the ongoing series Alas. She likes cats and comics and The Smiths and hates the Capitalist system.
