His older comics, collected in books such as Black Ghost Apple Factory, and Cry Yourself to Sleep (both from Top Shelf Productions) reveal a humor and pathos that run as equally deep.  Newer self-published endeavors, like Elephant Ear No. 1 and Transformer Man show strong cartooning focused on character and plot development. Jeremy is one of the main forces behind the powerhouse mutant comics group, Trubble Club.
