Description
In Kochab by Sarah Webb, Sonya’s on her way to light an offering to the spirits that fill the forest around her small mountainside village. When she gets distracted, and skis off course, she finds a hidden palace with a forgotten sleeping fire spirit. The two form a bond as they explore the once lively building, but soon find out there are forces who are out to get them.
Sarah’s lush fantasy cartooning fills the pages with light and darkness, heat and freezing cold, as her two main characters learn to care deeply about each other. Troubling memories, self-doubt, and a fear of being hurt propel the story into a explosive crescendo of forgiveness and understanding!
