In Ashley Robin Franklin’s queer erotic horror comic, One Million Tiny Fires, Briana and Cassie’s relationship is falling apart after having moved to a rural part of Texas. Their dream of living off the land together has left them hardly talking to each other without emotional eruptions. When Cassie sees something fall from the night sky, their dreams, bodies, and relationship all morph into different states of being.

Drawn over the course of a month as an Inktober challenge, Ashley’s latest horror comic evokes a lot of strong feelings.
