Otro Duelo collects poems about various forms of death, loss, and mourning by Alexandra Pagan Vélez. Omar Banuchi remixes illustrations from the golden age of Puerto Rican press into comics to accompany Alexandra’s texts.

The mix of Alexandra’s poems about the loss of life, innocence, and friendships with Omar’s selected imagery encourages many deep interpretations of the resulting comics ranging from bleak to farcical.
