Radiator Comics

Description

In Q Train, Rebecca Schuchat imagines the internal monologues of the passengers of a single car on a Manhattan-bound Q Train on the New York City Subway. Using ink and colored pencils, Rebecca shows the ebb and flow of passengers as the train makes its way across boroughs, and their different thoughts.

An inventive use of cartooning, Q Train tells a lot of stories with restraints placed on the setting and storytelling tools. You’ll have to ride this train a few times to catch all of the subtle jokes and stories Rebecca has fit into this comic!
