Description

Run Ragged by Axe Marnie is a poetic comic about recovering from chronic illness. Our main character is a werewolf who lives in an unforgiving world and must tame their inner self to conform to the rigors of ballet. This main story is supplemented by “Ow, Ouch” a collection of diary comics about living with chronic illness.

Told through stunning drawings and a deeply poetic narrative, Axe tells a story of internal and external expectations, and how little grace we give ourselves.
