Description
Slipping by Kit Anderson follows an unnamed protagonist as they concentrate on the tasks in front of them. They must stay aware and mindful to prevent themselves from “slipping,” which seems to be a mysterious way of disappearing from existence. The narrator has lost several loved ones to “slipping” but the one thing they can not keep off their mind is their old love, Monday.
Slipping feels at once supernatural and mundane. Kit’s cartooning is grounded in reality, and believable, focused on loss, longing, and disappointment.
