Goodbye by Ben Passmore is the type of comic you read, and then reread, and reread again; and then, when you talk about it with your friends you realize you each had a completely different perspective on the comic.
Broken into three acts, Goodbye is a conversation about identity, community, entropy, and probably a ton of other things I didn’t get out of the comic! Act one is a creation story full of a ton of humor and sadness. In act two an hard-core gutter-punk anarchist activist has his assumptions challenged by those he would least expect it from. Act three asks if there’s any way we can ever change who we are.
Ben might bring his own world-view to this discussion, but he’s not afraid to challenge or completely contradict himself, and he does it with an energy and humor that encourages you to be part of the conversation.
