In 2018, after moving to Brooklyn NY from Oakland CA, CM Campbell published his first comic for Hyperallergic. That comic was titled How to Draw Black Guy. His comics spoke to the wonders and anxieties of a young artist in New York trying find a place to fit in. Mostly, it was jokes though. This book is a collection of specific selections of that work.

This collection spans work between 2018 and 2021, featuring comics, satirical digital collage, and collaboration with other cartoonists! A vibrant and biting set of comics!
