Description
Reading Dina Kelberman’s Important Comics vol 2 one could imagine the author holing herself up in her bedroom and drawing these all in one feverish weekend! Each comic is a tiny spark of an idea that lasts a few seconds before colliding with the comic next to it!
Dina’s second collection of Important Comics seems to focus more on self-reflection than illustrating larger societal truths. Instead of making jokes at which you could see yourself playing the lead role, Dina seems to be talking a lot more about herself in these comics. As well as focusing on introspection, Dina’s visual style leans far more toward experimentation. A wider variety of media is employed in creating these comics. They’re messier and a lot more fun to read!
