Description
In Castro Jr.’s LINES No. 2, art takes center stage. A fictional story starring a community college student trying to decipher an art professor’s advice to “lose the moustache” during a critique is the anchoring comic of this issue. This and several other comics focus on the intention of artists, and the impact it has on the art for better or worse. The second-longest comic in this issue takes a different perspective, and features such deep appreciation for a painting that it leads to theft and a high-speed chase.
This issue is a hearty chunk of comics that feel both weighty and whimsical!
