Description
Needing a break from parenting three kids under the age of 5, Marnie Galloway is sent off by her husband, Tom to spend time alone in Pensacola, FL for her 37th birthday. As she recharges her batteries at the end of the panhandle, Marnie reflects on her life, her past and her future.
Lively and full of personality, Marnie’s travelogue dances from humorous observations of vacation life, to deep existential meditations, to a deep appreciation for the wildlife around her. All of it was drawn while on vacation, which is sure to fill any cartoonist reading it with the sting of jealousy—seriously, how dare Marnie write such deep observations and draw such beautiful contemporaneous drawings while sitting on the beach??
