Radiator Comics

Description

In Retrospective 2024, Diigii Daguna invites us to moments of their life. This zine is broken into two separate diary comics, each addressing an unnamed person in Diigii’s life. As the title suggests both comics are from a vantage point with distance from the events of each moment depicted. Diigii seems to have learned something from each instance, and can look back with some objectivity and safety, though that doesn’t mean there aren’t still some feelings underlying these stories.

Diigii fills their comics with enough details to give us a sense of what’s going on, but not so much detail to make it too personal. We can reflect on feelings of betrayal, loneliness, and recovery in our own lives.
