Description
In Temporada, Rosaura Rodríguez chronicles the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Maria, which hit Puerto Rico in September 2017. The island’s infrastructure is devastated, and Rosaura has no way of getting in touch with friends. As she, her family, and the rest of the island emerge, everything from bathing to getting food prove to be difficult, and the shortcomings and negligence of the government’s response are blatantly obvious.
Through beautiful and emotive watercolor drawings, Rosaura explores feelings of isolation, uncertainty, and anger.
This book is in Spanish with English subtitles.
