Description
Through Días Cómic’s anthology, Rapiña | Carroña, Rosaura Rodríguez and Omar Banuchi curate a collection of comics and essays focused on Puerto Rico, where the personal and the political know the same thing. With a focus on the colonial impact on the island’s residents, Rapiña | Carroña investigates the duality of being both predator and prey.
Días Cómic has collected a multi-generational group of cartoonists and writers who rescue from the newspaper, the stories that vanish, and bring them back to light among these pages, that in the same way must face the fate that everything that we entrust to paper has in store.
Hopefully this collection will serve to fuel other searches in its readers, and that each of us can respond to that request and assume its urgency as best as possible. It will be us who are custodians of this history, who take care of it, build it and solve it.
This anthology is in Spanish.
