Description
This book collects 31 portraits of various entities, each accompanied by a surprisingly short story. The Alphabert was originally created as a daily drawing exercise over one month in 2019, and this book features the whole month of pencil and ink illustrations alongside a short one or two sentence story exploring the character. Despite the small word count, the stories reveal large worlds to explore!
The Alphabert is printed on luxuriously thick 170gsm recycled paper (cover 250gsm recycled) so each page can be enjoyed without other Berts peeking through. You could even use it as a colouring book! Please note that while it’s mostly suitable for kids, children are not the target audience. Some of the stories are a bit dark and it features one moderately rude word (“Quimbert”), so parental discretion is advised.
