Description
The Lost Falcon by Estrella Vega is an ambitious and innovative storybook based on Egyptian mythology. A young nomad, traveling across the desert finds himself in an unending night, where nothing is as it seems, when he meets a falcon who needs help finding its way home!
Estrella uses heat-sensitive black ink to obfuscate great swaths of many of the illustrations. Using a hair dryer or heating pad (or very warm hands) will reveal the hidden imagery and dispel the nomad’s visions!
A gorgeous book, a fun premise, and a beautiful story make for an amazing publication (though we expect nothing less from Estrella)!
