Description

Cadaver Chronicles by Kriota Willberg is a memoir series that explores her life-long relationship with human anatomy. In this second issue, Kriota begins by sharing with us that she was sexually assaulted as a child, and as a result grew up disassociated with her own body. A shift from an interest in veterinary science to dance led Kriota to a class where she could start to reconnect to her body.

While Kriota’s understanding of the human body feels quite analytical, she moves through time, drawings, memories, and experiences in an intuitive manner in her comic.
