Description
Ramsey is the maker of the long-running zine, List, which started as a typewriter, cut-and-paste zine full of lists about her life. As she made more issues, List began including illustrations to accompany the lists, then the lists themselves became meticulously drawn diagrams. Her work continued to combine word and image, and inched toward sequential story telling, so it was no surprise when she took the comics plunge!
A committed member of DIY, punk, & zine communities, when Ramsey started making comics, her contributions were immediately sought after. Everydaypants is a one-person anthology of her contributions to zines & the website If You Make It.
Loving life is the name of the game in Ramsey’s life. These simple comics -drawn in the year leading up to her move from Chicago to Philadelphia give glimpses in Ramsey’s life as a nanny, punk-house member, and all-around friend.
