Futile Comics is a one-person comics anthology by Mike Centeno. Futile Comics explores our odd struggle to get through life in one piece. Through short stories, Mike dives into personal concerns, societal expectations, interpersonal drama, and philosophical conundrums!

In This Issue:
Mike presents a fantasy tale of a bird seeking vengeance for his murdered grandmother! Or, that is what’s on the surface. In reality, Mike reinterprets his struggle through medical treatment for cancer into a strange dream-like adventure. Some imagery can be easily translated into what we know about cancer treatment, while other sections of the story seem elusive and particularly personal.
