Description
Dina Kelberman’s Important Comics collect tiny bites of humor in a flood of ideas. Â Each of Dina’s comics -which vary in length, from one to six panels- says the things we don’t want to admit we’re thinking, and reveal truths that hit too close to home about living in a modern society.
A character learns an amazing fact. She must tell a friend, spread the knowledge:
“Yeah, I already knew that,” the friend replies.
“But now I know it!!” the first character exclaims.
It’s very easy to see yourself in these depictions of our inner foibles. These are funny and terrifying little mirrors into our own souls. Dina mixes in goofy doodles, and nonsensical comics in order to fool you that you don’t get any of her comics (and therefore their social commentary doesn’t apply to you).
