Prayer Blanket by Cam McCafferty is a 9-page diary comic exploring Cam’s experience growing up in Catholic School and grappling with their sexuality/gender identity. The comic aims to hold a number of complex feelings on spirituality at once: support, belonging, rejection, confusion, control, and love. Cam sorts their thoughts and feelings out, remembering what it was like to part ways with a Church that provided a lot of value to them.
