Description

Issue 13 of Melissa Mendes’ has echoes of the beginning of Edie’s story. This time Edie is in her mother’s shoes in an abusive relationship with a young child to care for. Edie is determined to write a different story for herself.

Another echo comes in a chance reunion with a character we haven’t seen since issue 3. By bringing this visit from an old friend into the story, Melissa exposes the different paths lives can take.
